May 2014 – New Website Launched

Maybe I should say ‘new look’ website is launched, since everything should be working just as it was before.  We have the usual list of minor things to change or adjust, so bear with us while we tweak things!

There is one change, in the form of a new facility, which is due to be added very soon.  It is a ‘My Favourites’ section where you will be able to put resources ready for quick access when you need them.  I think it will also be useful to put the same resource from different age groups, so you can instantly compare and pick the appropriate level for your children.

The current week’s resources follow a Local History theme which coincides with the Local and Community History Month.  You will find more useful May dates, including Awareness dates, Religious dates, ‘National Days’ and ‘This Day in History’ – just follow this link:

After this week, if you spot anything amiss on our new site, please let us know so we can make amendments.  We also have ‘Contact Us About This Resource’ at the bottom of each resource and your comments are always welcomed.
