September 2015 – The Way Ahead

Firstly, a big thank you for your support for Race for Life in July; Chrissie raised £370 for Cancer Research UK through the Just Giving website.  All your kind messages were greatly appreciated.

Moving on, we have been planning for the coming year and working out how we can organise the resources to be more structured and useful when planning lessons and at the same time give that extra boost at the beginning of the day.

We will be creating Topic Packs that will progressively be seen with the existing Topics.  As an example, the section on Animals currently has a mixture that will be organised into separate packs for Pets, Birds and Mammals.  Some notes will be included in these packs to help plan lessons.

New material will still be regularly created to provide a comprehensive collection in each topic pack.

Every week, a new selection of existing tried and tested resources will be provided in This Week’s and Next Week’s Resources, so the children will have something that is new to them each morning if that is where you prefer to select your morning starters.

Thought for the Week will be regularly updated and don’t forget that there are now over forty of them in the Gallery – which will also be extended this year.

Please tell others about us if you like what we offer and tell us if you don’t!
